Praying to leave your stressful job, but God has other plans.
Several years ago, I was working in a job that I did not like at all. I really wanted to quit the job. I was praying daily for God to let me leave the company. After much prayer, it seemed as if nothing was going to change. I decided that I would leave it and typed up my letter of resignation. For some reason, I did not hand the letter in that morning. By the afternoon, my boss called me into his office and told me I was being laid off.
"MY PRAYERS WERE ANSWERED"
I was so happy. My prayers were answered and I did not have to give him my letter of resignation. I called my girlfriend and told her how God answered my prayers. I left the job on a good note. A few months later, my former boss called asking me to re-join the company. I told him I could not return, but we remain friends.
God is concerned about everything that matters to us and He steps in at the right time! Thank you, Lord!
