I frantically looked everywhere. I just had that thing in my hand. Where can it be? My Lord!
My family was getting ready for camp. I was almost done adding the kids' Pathfinder patches to their sashes. I only had 3 more patches to add and decided to run upstairs with the uniforms and a small ziplock bag with the remaining patches. I placed everything on the bed and began supervising the kids while they pack.
When we were finished, I got ready to finish adding the patches and iron all their uniforms. However, I couldn't find the patches anywhere. I began to search everywhere. Upstairs and downstairs. In the bedrooms and bathrooms. In bags and behind doors. I eventually became exhausted and gave up for the night. I went to bed feeling dejected.
I woke up the next morning and while praying I said, "Jesus, help me find these patches. Where are they, Lord?" Before I finished my request, the Holy Spirit said, "Under the bed." As soon as I went upstairs, entered the bedroom, bent down slightly, and looked under the bed, I saw the ziplock bag with the remaining patches.
Words cannot expressed my joy in that moment. Praise the Lord and thank you, Holy Spirit for revealing to me I needed to look under the bed.
Matthew 7:7-8 says, "Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened."
