This is a continuation of a testimony I shared a few weeks ago on God having a sense of humor. Struggling to make ends meet, God urged me to bless someone financially.
What should I do?
What would you have done?
I obeyed and God began pouring out blessings on me and my family. As I was reflecting on His awesomeness, a friend reminded me of Isaiah 58:9-11. It says, "Then shalt thou call, and the Lord shall answer; thou shalt cry, and he shall say, Here I am. If thou take away from the midst of thee the yoke, the putting forth of the finger, and speaking vanity; And if thou draw out thy soul to the hungry, and satisfy the afflicted soul; then shall thy light rise in obscurity, and thy darkness be as the noon day: And the Lord shall guide thee continually, and satisfy thy soul in drought, and make fat thy bones: and thou shalt be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water, whose waters fail not."
This scripture was timely and as I stated in my previous testimony, God affirms most things to me in threes. Well, sure enough, blessing number three came on Friday, November 6, 2020 while on the prayer line, sharing my testimony with the prayer family.
In the midst of sharing, one of the prayer family members texted me, asking if a contribution would be accepted on a monthly basis for the person in financial need. I did not share with the group that God answers me in threes. It came to mind, but I did not speak it.
God has certainly made provisions – “and thou shalt be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water, whose waters fail not.” He blows my mind every time! He is so AMAZING, so faithful, so true to His word. He is certainly a Man who CANNOT lie! (Numbers 23:19, emphasis). When I call upon my God, He hears and answers. When I cry out to Him, He says, “Here I am.”
As I continue on this journey, He is teaching me more and more, how to be obedient. I THANK God for the journey He is taking me on and I pray I will be victorious. What are you thankful for?
