Christmas Day 2020, I felt a sharp pain in my back/left hip area, and thought to myself that doesn't feel right, however, I'll just do my stretches as usual, soak in some Epson salt and all will be well.
The pain subsided here and there. About two weeks later, on a Friday night, the pain increased. I tossed and turned all night long. I cried because I felt not one ounce of relief.
The following morning I went to Urgent Care, had an X-ray done of my back. They found nothing wrong there, but prescribed me meds and told me to follow-up with my PCP.
Followed up with my PCP a few days later, they took an X-ray of my hip, all was well with my hip. My doctor prescribed MORE meds, scheduled an appointment with a PT and sent me on my way.
As the days went on, I took the medication as prescribed, but they worked as long as I was asleep. When I was awake, the pain persisted all day. I still had pain when I walked, stood still or in a sitting position.
I became very confused and frustrated because I sought help, but wasn't seeing any results. I couldn't walk or stand longer than 5 minutes without a chair for assistance. Sitting also became very painful as well.
Last night, I said to myself "Enough IS ENOUGH. This pain WON'T BEAT ME!" I began to pray and claim promises of healing in scripture. I did this all while stretching until I fell asleep.
The following morning I woke up, got out of bed, WALKED into my bathroom, STOOD while taking a shower, STEPPED out of the shower, and STOOD while brushing my teeth. It wasn't until I STOOD brushing my teeth that it hit me like "HOLD UP!" You just did all of those things that you struggled to do in over a month, without the assistance of a chair!
I thank my God in heaven for the privilege of Prayer, for it IS truly POWERFUL and God's Word IS TRUE!! I could NOT do a thing without Him, I'm so grateful unto the Lord for His HEALING Power!

"Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord: And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him." James 5:14-15
