Prayer Got Me A Husband!

I never had much luck with relationships and I didn't have a good history of dating nice men. At one point after a failed relationship, I prayed and wrote down in my journal exactly what I wanted in a man.

I wanted a man who: - Loves His Parents - Can Sing - Believes in God - Is Intelligent - Has a Job - Has a Sense of Humor I think the last thing on my list was a man who was attractive, but that might not have been there. I prayed over my list consistently. My grandmother always said, "Once you stopped looking then they find you." I prayed and waited for my husband to find me.

At the time, I was working at a school. There was a gentleman who worked there with me. We would see each other and say "hello" each day for over six years. I never thought much of our daily hellos. I eventually left the job and started working somewhere else.

The gentleman from my old job contacted me via Facebook. He was curious about where I have been because he no longer saw me at work. After talking, we decided to go out on a date. During the date, he looked at me and said "You have really beautiful eyes." I knew then that there was something there! We have been together for 7 years and married for over 4 years with a handsome son.
